In this interview, a former team member will ask coaches and participants of team /mnt/ain questions about this year’s Swiss Hacking Challenge. The coaches give insights into how they find and promote the best young cybersecurity talents in Switzerland. Moreover, participants talk about their experience during qualification and at ECSC 2022. They will also be in the talent corner during the conference and are happy to show off some cool hacking gadgets and engage in technical discussions about browser exploitation, adversarial attacks on AI, and other insane CTF challenges.
/mnt/ain is the Swiss hacking team composed of current and former candidates for two competitions, the European Cyber Security Challenge (ECSC) and SwissSkills. The Swiss Hacking Challenge (SHC) organizes an annual qualification to select the top young cyber security talents. The chosen team of 10 people can represent Switzerland at the international ECSC competition. Moreover, candidates get the chance to compete for spots at the WorldSkills through the SwissSkills competition. The team /mnt/ain actively plays CTF and regularly achieves impressive results (such as first place at SHELLCTF 2022) and ranks 56 worldwide.
