We are aware of the COVID-19 situation and we are monitoring the evolution, as well as the latest recommendation of Switzerland’s government regarding public events regularly.
At the present moment and given the slow but positive stabilization of infection rates in our country, as well as in many of our neighboring countries, we remain optimistic and expect that by October, we will see pretty much normalized circumstances for carrying out such an event. As long as this is the case, we are planning ahead for a great Swiss Cyber Storm 2020 and we will be very happy to enjoy it with you.
We invest much of our time and effort in setting up our annual conference, including lining up interesting speakers and topics, and we do our best to offer you an event where you can not only listen and learn, but also participate and expand your network.
Whatever happens between now and October, we will make the necessary decision to prevent exposing our public, our speakers and our staff to any unnecessary risk.
We will update this information page as soon as we know more about restrictions and recommendations for October.

If you have purchased tickets for Swiss Cyber Storm 2020 and contrary to our expectations, we do have to cancel the event, we will refund your ticket at the same price it was purchased for. Note, however, that we cannot be held responsible for any other costs (credit card fees, taxes, plane or train tickets, hotel reservations, etc.) that you may have and will not provide compensation for any of those.
If this is the case by the day of the conference, you will also receive a refund for your conference ticket. As with the previous question, we cannot be held responsible for any other costs (credit card fees, taxes, plane or train tickets, hotel reservations, etc.) that you may have and will not provide compensation for any of those.
You will need to send us a short email at secretariat [at] swisscyberstorm [dot] com with the
– Your ticket number (e.g. 2020-ABCDE)
– Your full name (as used for ticket purchase)
– The email address provided when purchasing the ticket
Please note that refund requests without all of the information above will be ignored.
We will process the refund requests in batches (once a week), so a reasonable delay is to be expected. Once the refund is validated and processed, the corresponding amount will be credited directly by our ticketing provider to the same credit card that was used for payment.
